Kylie from will be happy to see that I have finally rescued my first two rolls of Holga film. I shot them a couple weeks ago, and it took 10 days to get the prints back. Ugh!
In any case, I was very pleasantly surprised to see that almost all of my shots turned out. I hadn't shot film in a while, not to mention that I'd never used the finicky Holga. I had no idea if I was getting anything good at all, and was afraid that I'd get back two rolls of overexposed film!
One of my favorites of the bunch is this shot of the mockup sitting near the front gate at work. This is the type of rocket that launched Alan Shepard when he became the first American in space. The little tiny black triangle-shaped capsure at the top is all that came back to Earth -- and all that poor Alan Shepard was squeezed into.
I'll have another view of this rocket tomorrow, so come again. :)
I'm so glad they worked! I was nervous with my first batch too.
I just posted some new color holga shots, the ones I was waiting to come back. For some reason they don't seem as "Holga-ish" as my B/W ones. I'm goign to shoot some more color over the weekend and see what I get.
