This is pretty much what it looked like on the swings at the rodeo carnival -- a blur of lights and sounds.

The sun was setting as Brad Paisley took the stage at the rodeo, and it streamed in through the cracks in the shades just like a spotlight.

The boats around Clear Lake always turn up covered in lights and other decorations at this time of year. I love it.

The air was very humid the day we went to Wings Over Houston, so we saw a lot of condensation forming off the wings of the fast jets. It was cool.

This P-47 belongs to the Lone Star Flight Museum in Galveston so it makes an appearance every year at Wings Over Houston. It's my favorite because of the brightly colored way it's painted and because it's got "Tarheel" in its name. :)
