I got my yearly amaryllis a little early, to make sure it would bloom before I leave for the holidays.

I could've taken photos of the green moss and yellow fall leaves of the Pacific Northwest all day long. I miss fall leaves. Houston doesn't really get them.

We hiked down a trail to the river below Snoqualmie Falls while visiting my sister in Seattle, and there were so many green, mossy trees. You can tell that they have a very wet climate simply from the vegetation.
