When I was little, my dad built a great treehouse-thing in the backyard which we just call "The Platform." It's still there, although it never gets used anymore. I walked down in the backyard while I was home to revisit it.

After shooting the triathlon pictured the past three days, my two friends and I headed to Mustang Island State Park, on the coast near Corpus Christi. While there, we spied a few of the illustrious Gulf of Mexico surfers. It may not be Hawaii or even California, but some people will surf whatever they can!
