Sports: August 2005 Archives

I love watching the fans at baseball games. This kid, however, was a night too early to see Andy Pettitte pitch at Wednesday night's game. I wonder if he was there last night as Pettitte got the win for the Astros?

Jen, Jason and I caught the Astros-Nationals game. It turned into a bit more of a nail-biter than I would have liked, despite "Lights-Out Lidge" coming in to close it out (and give up two runs), but the Astros won 7-6 to maintain their lead in the National League Wild Card race.

Here's my favorite guy again, Adam Everett, taking a hack at the ball. He connected, but was thrown out at first.
