The Atlanta skyline as seen from the top of the Renaissance Hotel in midtown.
Corpus Christi -- and the last day of my holiday vacation -- fades in the distance.
We managed to get a "reasonably" clear Seattle day to visit the Space Needle and were able to get a good view of downtown. We weren't the only ones with the same idea, obviously.
A jet flies high above the top of the Space Needle in Seattle.
I have no idea what this place was, but I assume it was a theater. We passed it while wandering around downtown Seattle in the early hours of the evening.
I could've taken photos of the green moss and yellow fall leaves of the Pacific Northwest all day long. I miss fall leaves. Houston doesn't really get them.

This is my first attempt at an HDR (high dynamic range) photo. It's composed of five exposures merged and tone-mapped in Photoshop. I have to admit that it didn't really turn out like I'd hoped. The sky was overcast and would've appeared washed out no matter how much I underexposed the image. And I guess I was expecting more texture in the trees as well.
I look forward to trying again though.

This was taken in 2004 in Cusco, Peru.
