While home for the holidays, we took a ride on the Lynx, Charlotte's new light rail line. It was pretty cool but like Houston, there is only one line for now.
We managed to get a "reasonably" clear Seattle day to visit the Space Needle and were able to get a good view of downtown. We weren't the only ones with the same idea, obviously.
I have no idea what this place was, but I assume it was a theater. We passed it while wandering around downtown Seattle in the early hours of the evening.
It gets dark really early in Seattle in November, and the overcast skies don't help. This photo was taken around 5 p.m. but it might as well have been midnight.
While searching for the bus stop, we came across the Seattle Public Library. It had a really cool building with all sorts of interesting angles.
I went to the Galleria (Houston's largest mall) the weekend before Thanksgiving, and they'd already put up their Christmas decorations. Too early for my tastes, but the tree was still pretty.
